If you know me, you know that I love journals.
I love journals.
No, I really love journals.
If there were a contest between Idris Elba and a journal, Idris better move out of the way because the journal is going to win.
So imagine how I felt when I saw my fellow artist Millispeaks had created a dope journal that allows the writers to ask questions of themselves, their experiences and really get to core of who they are.
I spent 31 days in The Sun Looks Good On You journal. I was prompted with questions that made me sit and ponder my dreams, my goals, my mistakes and my accomplishments. It was a relief to answer those questions on paper. I think that we underestimate the power of writing our feelings and reflections down. Writing is a release of stress, but it is also a declaration of vision.
Now, the self-love journal (that I have just started working on) is sitting in my purse ready to be written in. I am ready to dig into my realities and reflect on my journal with self-love.
Millispeaks's journal had me thinking about my vision for my life and how I am actually going to get there. If you have ever met Millispeaks, you will see that she is a woman of vision, passion and faith. She keeps God first and pursues her dreams with such zeal. She is truly an inspiration.
I invite you to check out her journals here and check out her work here.
